Christina L,Wong, PhD aka CHEWIE (Main contributor) – I am a trained nutrition scientist but also a gluttonous foodie, home cook enthusiast, wife and MOM. Raised by hard working immigrant parents who showed their love through food. I grew up watching my parents cook at home and at our family’s Chinese Jamaican Restaurant in down town Toronto (My parents retired in 2008 after 35 years in the business). A lot of my cooking definitely reflects the flavours from my upbringing and from growing up in the most multicultural city in the world.
I currently hosts a new cooking YouTube Channel: Chewie Chews – Confessions of a Home Cook (since Oct 2015), where I hope to inspire people with busy schedules to cook and consume more meals at home and bring joy to tummies everywhere.

When I am not cooking, I am a free lance nutrition science writer and consultant working with research and proprietary food product data. I currently reside in the west end of Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my most supportive husband and my toddler daughter (Little Chews). Nothing gives me more joy than cooking for my family.
